The Love Of Her Eyes Poem by Hermona Duhlian

The Love Of Her Eyes

I looked at her eyes,
I could see love;
hidden deep beneath the twinkling eyes
Intermingled with shyness.
The love always wanting to erupt
But were suppressed by shyness.
The love that cannot overtake the tongue;
And pour out its feelings...
The love that eagerly waits for the dawn
but evaporates when the sun rises
Like the dew...
The love that loves the way
It devours and burns her heart.
The love that wishes to be expressed
In the language of muted feelings...
The love that said 'I will express'
And melts when the time comes;
only to be more desperate...
The love that wants to say
' I am desperate for you' but said
Naught but a blink of eyes
The love that is hidden over;
With every blink of the eyes but...
Shines whenever it opens again.
Yes! I saw the love inside...but
Was the love for me?
Perchance it be mine...then
I love her eyes...
