She likes him
there's no doubt
about it
but he's in love
with something else
she's sure of it
she wants to
tell him how
she feels
without being
to forward
but she's scared
that with one word
it could all be over
He thinks about her
he tells her
that he cares
but she knows he's in love
with something bigger
something that
could never compare
he's on her mind
just like she's on his
but they both
know what
the story is
he wont
take a step forward
and she wont tell
him how she feels
and mixed together
they don't know how to deal
it would be easier
just to let go
but thinking that way
she's sure to fall
and as much as she
doesn't want
to admit it
the love of his life
is basketball
although she thinks
she doesn't compare
she does because
from the begining
he said he cared
so maybe one day
they'll be together
but then again
that day could
take forever
but because her heart
is willing to wait
she knows that's
a chance she's
ready to take
