I took a chance
A chance on loving you
Something i really should not do
Does it make a difference if i do anyway
You didn't return the love
Now what else must i say

That i'm fine
That it's okay
If i did i'd be telling a lie
Cause i feel the exact opposite way

While i'm smiling and laughing on the outside
I'm sad and crying on the inside
No one can see
Except me
What's going on inside

I said i wouldn't fall for you again
But i did anyway
Now what else must i say

Can i say goodbye to you
Or will i end up saying hello again
Will i still think of you as just more than a friend

Will you still be
The light to my shine
The sparkle in my eyes
The pep to my step

Or will you dropp to the status of being a regular person in my life? ? ? ?
