I have learned to love myself
not only in the moments I shine,
but in the quiet hours
when I need to slow down
and simply breathe.
I love my body
for carrying me through every season,
for whispering when it needs rest,
for reminding me
that I am more than what I accomplish.
I give my mind permission
to put its burdens down,
to wander, to wonder,
to be still without guilt.
I choose gentle mornings,
honest boundaries,
deep breaths,
and the courage to say,
"Today, I need care."
I no longer measure my worth
by how much I can endure.
I measure it in moments of peace,
in laughter that reaches my eyes,
in sleep that restores me,
in kindness I give myself freely.
My wellbeing is not a luxury,
nor something I earn
after everything else is done.
It is the home I carry within me—
and every day,
I am learning
to come home with love.
