As I lay here in this quiet room,

Thoughts of you fill up the gloom,

But then I hear your voice on the phone,

And all my worries are instantly gone.

You're coming home, my heart does sing,

As I dance around like a child in spring,

And now you'll be back in my arms, safe and sound.

Let's celebrate the love we've got,

The kind that can weather any storm or plot,

It's strong and true and oh so real,

The kind that people long to feel.

With every step you take on your way,

My heart beats faster in anticipation each day,

For soon we'll embrace the love we've got,

And bask in its warmth like a cozy spot.

The love we've got, it's like a fire,

Ever burning with a passionate desire,

It fuels our souls and makes us whole,

A love like ours is truly rare, that's for sure.

So let's gather around and raise a glass,

To the love we've got, and all we've amassed,

And trace the constellations with our fingers, no bars,
