The Lovely Sounds Of Nature Poem by May Mustang

The Lovely Sounds Of Nature

Rating: 5.0

The sounds of nature
O so sweet,
Who am I
That would dare to repeat
The loveliness of the tweet,
The flutter of wings,
The cute, tiny prints
Of wild birds' feet?

The sounds of nature
O how beautiful from near and far,
The pitter - patter of the rain
On an aging parked car,
Each drip - drop runs across,
The mind, like a puzzle piece seemed to fit,
Seemed to play a deliberate part
Or just for the fun of it.

The sounds of nature
O sometimes deeply will doth groan,
To an unwilling beat
One's heart begins to roam,
Feelings begin to run and smear like
A thick coat of paint on new hot chrome,
When it's all part of nature
Who decides to be alone?
