The Lucky Ones Poem by Ola Olawale

The Lucky Ones

In the middle
They sit and forget
At their palm
Is every wish

They have gotten hands to lean on
Arms to lift them
Their birds have got wings
Why won't the sky be beautiful?

And a short distance
In that world
life there is a paradise
Just say it

In that world
Hunger has no home
Thirst has no place
There is Haven

Only in our eyes
We from the other side
To them it is just a home
A home like a home

They live like chameleon
Gucci to Versace
They are like a baby
Everything at the palm

If, Reincarnation is true
I will ask at birth
Where life has tossed me
Before crying

Life here is not a joke!
