The Maid - Poem by mariechantal tuyisabe

Young and tender, I am
But I look to my future and doubt
Will I be like those whose
Compounds I cheerfully cherish
Day after day?
Some thing wispers
Into my ears
And gives me a
Long-lined truth
The faces of those with...
Stare at mine in
A warm-friendly gaze
Do they even realize how
Many miles and miles my youthful
Brain can run?
Their success is greatly honest
And yet about my future, they question
