The Man I Love Poem by carley jones

The Man I Love

The man I love, your my life
nor heaven or hell would tear the love I have for you
you light up the skies, and help me to breath
your my hero and my saviour
and when were apart I'm broken
there still a cry inside, with a burning feeling
feeling empty, now it lost
bitter sweet of an end
James you hold the sparks
your my keepsake, and pride of joy
I completely adored you from the first day
now I cant reach for a word,
my hearts broken in two,
my heart and soul was for you
give me a clue or even a hint
to return the gift I give to you
i love you today more than the day before
every single minute like a bursting vein
wish i was close but the miles will separate
and the event that was caused today
you remain in my heart waiting to be erased
but not yet i laugh away the sadness
same as you did, and bandage my heart
for this is the end, Sometimes goodbyes can be forever
Meaning never again will we be together
