The Mansion Poem by angel mottola

The Mansion

The mansion stands out
against a sky
that holds
every human fear,
a boundless gray veil
that heralds the coming of the end.
All around, guardians,
silent and watchful,
guard the sinister secrets
of that residence,
an eternal tribute to evil,
which welcomes all
and lets no one go.
