The March Of Time - Poem by Yolanda Marin

Time is ever of the essence;
Try to weather every test,
That you may close your day in prayer,
My dear God, I've done my best.

Make use of all your talents,
Before they turn to rust,
Make something special of your life,
Before you turn to dust.

For, one fine day, on all of us,
Death is sure to pay a call;
May you be ready for him
And leave in peace with all.
