The Masters Poem by Margaret Widdemer

The Masters

YOU have taught me laughter,
Joyousness and light,
How the day is rosy-wild,
Star-enthrilled the night:

Maybe God can teach me
After you are gone
How to bear the blackened night
And the dreadful dawn.
