The Memories Poem by Sinead Crowley

The Memories

Remember the times that we laughed,
Remember the times that we played,
Remember the few times we fought
Over silly and pointless things.

So many memories you and I have shared,
Ones that bring a smile to the face or a tear to the eye,
When we'd mess around into the small hours of the morning,
Or I'd tell you it would all be okay,
even if i wasn't sure it would be.

All these things make us what we are,
Best friends, plain and simple to the end.
And if one day I'm gone we'll always have the memories,
But till then i say thank you for being my best friend.
