The Memory I Would Rather Forget Poem by Charisa van der Zwet foolforlove

The Memory I Would Rather Forget

I shared with you
Something I have never shared
A memory I would rather forget
Still, it happened, so unexpected yet so precious
Your presence helped me from drowning in a sea of worry
Can hear me screaming for help now, after you left me alone in this horrific world
This horrific world without the embrace of the one I truly love
I will never forget the first time we truly met,

The memory I would rather forget
