The Millennium - Poem by Vivi Mills
Soon, we will enter a new millennium
Year 2000—what will it bring?
A continuation of a troubled world
Drastic changes, unexpected things? Who will our leader be
A man of love, mercy, peace?
One to lead us in the right way
Or one to control our power released? Will our leader be God's son
Or an earthly man of faults?
It's time for serious thoughts, actions
Have we prepared for the future—be smart. There'll be no peace
Until the "Prince of Peace" comes,
To set up his kingdom on earth
While there's time—to the savior, run. When Jesus comes, each man receives his pay
Each man holds his destiny in his hands,
It's time to search our heart, repent of sin
It's our choice—God's wrath or his promised land.
