The Miracle Called Friendship
There is a miracle called Friendship
that dwells within the heart
and you don't know how it happens
or when it even starts.
But the happiness it brings you
always gives a special lift
and you realize that Friendship
is God's most precious gift.
Who originally wrote this? My father read this to me when I was a girl back in the 1970's.
I wrote this poem in 1974 for a poetry contest but that was all that I ever knew about the poem I do have the original in my possession
