The Mirror Of The Mind Poem by ashok jadhav

The Mirror Of The Mind

I walked alone at break of day,
Beneath the sun's impartial light;
The fields lay wide, the river calm,
And thoughts arose within my sight.
I pondered right, I pondered wrong,
The paths we choose, the deeds we bear;
Each action leaves a subtle mark,
Each choice a weight we cannot spare.
The wind would stir the bending grass,
And whisper truths I could not flee;
That life is made of small refrains,
Yet shaped by what we fail to see.
The hills spoke slow of patience born,
The stones endured through storm and time;
And in their silence, I perceived
The measure of a life sublime.
For virtue walks not in loud display,
Nor wisdom thrives in fleeting praise;
It lives in quiet, steady hearts,
And lights the darkened, thorny ways.
So when the night falls soft and still,
And stars like questions pierce the mind,
I turn within, reflect, and learn
That truth and conscience are aligned.
