The Missing Rib Poem by ALEX OWULO OGOH

The Missing Rib

The moon spoke to my soul 'Arise'
So I rise to seek of my future
As I roam beneath the shining stars
I saw a diamond smile of white that glee.

Turning sharply from this bright light
This smile secretly I said to myself must again sight
Calling at the shyly me to return
A kiss of heaven descends upon my shyly run.

Freezing at this coldness that followed suit
Then I wonder how complete my heaven without loot
My melting leg I tried calling back to life
As I kneel to pray for a growing new height.

When my feet regain a breath of little height
My brain thinks far beyond to become deaf
Is this reality, or just some drama show?
So I watched till my eye began to glow.

An Angel has kissed my lips
So soft like a night breeze that kills
Could this be, whom I dreamt of?
But this attribute I dreamt not of all.

When my temperature answered to call of normal
Behold my long awaiting rib standing before my very eye.
