The Missing Wonder Poem by Lady Miftadi

The Missing Wonder

Rating: 2.5

Brilliant sunlight snatches me from my deep dream
Avert my eyes from the reality ahead
I try to look again, and amazed
These eyes work!

I see differently now..
Around me, the ordinary become vibrant
the sunlight bathed my room like heavenly glow
Everything shimmer and bare, i want to know

All the wonder that is in life
To see what lies beneath this vague reality
Beyond all things in plain view
Beyond all of the unnecessary fuss

I wonder, wonder

What we witness is not what we perceive
The People, The Rhythm, The Earth, The Mind
There exists a story in everything
layers within layers

Now i open my eyes, Now i see

There is a greater 'something' i need to seek
So i put one foot in front of the other
I am coming back to life
With a new hunger to see the World
