The Missionary Poem by Issac Gonzales

The Missionary

Rating: 5.0

A sacrafice must be made
for the cross of burden to fade
and in time of journey's end
forever, together, we may spend.

I must leave all things behind,
the lost souls I must find
to lead them back to a celestial home,
to praise our God before His throne.

Tender mercies of a perfect man
demands I take this task at hand-
to serve my God, the
Father of all; indeed, this
is a sacred call.
