The Mist Of Everlasting Thought Poem by Rik Bertrand

The Mist Of Everlasting Thought

I shall dwell in the mist of everlasting thought, as I fall into your dreams.
My life shall relish the beauty of your presence, as you sew all the love seams.
I have never felt the touch of love but now I shall feel your emotional bliss.
My soul has come under your spell of passion of which I truly cannot resist.

Carry my essence into your world of glorious rapture and consume my lust,
Let me caress your dreams, your thoughts, and cover you with fairy dust.
You will fly into the arms of the clouds and be able to reach the shining stars,
And you will feel the love wrapping around the night, which is ours.

I shall dwell in the mist of everlasting thought, for it is a very happy place.
I dwell there with thoughts of you and the perfect image of your beautiful face.
I want to linger ever so slightly so that I may fall back into your dreams of love,
Or be able to watch your glorious life as I sat on the clouds above.

I shall dismantle what cannot be and reassemble my dreams in thought,
I shall capture the love and lust that all thought could be naught.
I shall dwell in the mist of everlasting thought and demand what is just deserved,
I shall wrap my arms around my hopes and dreams that only I have observed.
