The Moment Imagery Was Born Poem by Rajendra Prasad Meena Jaipur India

The Moment Imagery Was Born

Sorrow came quietly
and wrapped my mind in
a grey shawl.

Then a wandering breeze
touched my tired face
with invisible fingers
and left a little coolness behind.

Peace entered my mind
like moonlight entering
a room forgotten by the sun.

My thoughts awakened.
One thought gave birth to another,
and soon my mind became
a kingdom of restless ideas.

Tiny lights of thought
began to float through the darkness,
like fireflies searching
for a forgotten path.

Then lightning tore the sky apart,
and thunder shook the silence.

Rain began to fall—
not merely from the clouds,
but as if the heavens themselves
had begun to speak to me.

"Why are you waiting?
This is the moment."

The wind became my inspiration,
the rain became my voice,
the lightning became my awakening,
and my mind became a canvas.

I began to weave words
like threads of light through darkness—
giving sorrow a shadow,
giving peace a breath,
giving thoughts a face,
and giving silence a voice.

And then I understood:

Imagery is not merely describing a picture.
It is creating one inside another person's mind.

That night,
I did not merely write a poem—

I learned how to make words
become visible.
