The Mommy Life Poem by Kathleen Mabie

The Mommy Life

Little feet that travel so fast,
these days are surely not meant to last.
Everyday beckons something new,
running in circles like the littles do.

They seem to keep me on my toes
Just the way mommyhood goes.
I'd never expect anything less,
The littles keep me in a occupied
Wanting, wanting... Are they satisfied.

Each day starts with kisses so sweet,
nothing in this world can compete.
All day long we go and go from here to there
to and froe.

But as tiring as the day can be,
And how sweet the calm comes rolling in
I will never trade this mommy life, this is where my life begins.
