The Money Laundering Poem by Zubyre Parvez

The Money Laundering

The shark fin blazers of the city men
Loan at Bank, money in paper envelopes
The kipper tie, and navy blue shirt
Creased like waves, on a late start to work
Needing the small ship of some iron
To prepare for the battle of arms
Muscling in on irreligious profits.
The spring cleaned laundrette
A respite from scheming, debauchery,
and the city culture, in London.
