The Moon Cries Poem by Chelsea Crisman

The Moon Cries

In one night,
A child dies.
Luna loses her fight,
And the moon cries.

A sister is alone,
Her human loses something dear.
Nobody could have known,
Now the moon releases her tears.

An angel of the sky,
A hero in disguise,
Luna can finally fly.
Fly to the moon that cries.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Some deaths are so sad. Even when they aren't human, the loss of a young life always seems to have such a great impact upon others.
