The Moon Was Shy Again Tonight



The moon was shy again tonight,
hiding behind the tall trees,
it willed us to look elsewhere
until it was prepared to shine.

The moon was shy again tonight,
slowly rising beyond fronds,
It willed us to see romance
then dominated the whole sky.
