The Morning Has Poems The Night Cannot Have Poem by Shalom Freedman

The Morning Has Poems The Night Cannot Have

The morning has poems the night cannot have
Daylight is its own music
If it were not for Dawn, how could we be?
Light is hope and laughter
The singing in the wilderness
That begins the day
The morning has poems the night cannot have
Let us begin the day
Before we die.
