The Morning Star Poem by Adrian Liebert

The Morning Star

As the heaven once said onto the world to thrive
Thus came the morning star, the eye of heaven.
Dancing from the east, the harbinger of day
Showering the vivid beauty with all its divine grace.

The birds of peace chant for its arrival
And the forests that merrily shake in harmony.
The Amaryllises open their eyes in tears
As if they are brought upon as infants among all and sundry.

The glory that was once used to shine in heaven,
Has now been dethroned from all its elegance.
Cast down among the vile and rotten,
And dreadfully compelled to remain in repent.
