You can break me, tear me
But I still rise like the morning sun
You can leave me, alone and scared
But I still pull through like the suns rays
You can say you love me, then say its not true
But I will still have faith like the suns warmth on my skin
You were the only one I loved and I thought I could be with you forever
Yet you leave me
I find strength in the words you left behind
In the kind face I so dearly miss
In thoughts that you cared about me
I still break down
I still think its hopeless
But then I look out the window and see the rising sun, the suns rays on my face, I feel the warmth on my skin
And everything seems a little better.
