The Mumble Poem by Prasenjit Das

The Mumble

Behind that Fireplace where I seat,

Your love was more warmer than the fire indeed,

When you are in my arms and mumble,

Heart beats fast feel humble,

The light was dimmed,

The music was on,

A nice tempo is carrying on,

Your hand is on my hand,

We were drowning in the dance,

The night was cold and the stars on the sky,

Moon was so dreamy and bright,

It's a blissful emotion when you are with me,

One happiest one can be,

This day comes once in a year,

That unite us without a fear,

When I came closer for the second touch,

All ambiances had gone and I am sitting on that easy chair,

This is how you stay now for that night,

A year gone of our nuptials then you left me alone in the earth...
