I have a need inside of me to show you
What i want to be
That after all is said and done
I can and will become
A better person than you allowed me to be
To make you see
I am me
I am who and where i want to be
I hope you see
This is me
Despite all you have done
To bring me down to the ground
I have become a stronger and better person
Than you first thought me to be
