The New Kid Poem by Cameron Anderson

A new kid arrived today
They were really funny
I went round their house to play
They showed me their pet bunny
A few weeks later they were my friend
They said ''I'll be loyal till the end.''
The summer came and things were great
Me and him, we were best mates
I wanted to meet
And when we did it wasn't quite a treat
He said that he ''found new mates'' and ''your not worth my time''
Then he scoffed at me as if i was a crime
I'm at a new school now
But before i left HE said ''ciao.''
