The New Me Poem by Freewill Amon

The New Me

Rating: 5.0

I am a nice guy;
You can always lean on me.
I am a smart guy;
You can trust me with your responsibility.

I am a strong guy;
You can make me your fortress.
I am a cool guy;
You can rant and rave in excess.

I am a humble guy;
You can ride on me like a horse;
Swinging me from side to side,
And hitting me hard without remorse.

I am an intelligent guy;
You can ask me and I will answer.
I am a brilliant guy;
You can peep me while I write.

I am a jovial guy;
You can tap me and call me names.
I am a kind guy;
You can come around and play your games.

I am now a new guy.
I cease to be whom I used to be.
For too long I've carried the world on my shoulder,
But I've finally decided to set myself free.
