The Night Consumed Poem by Leon Moon

The Night Consumed

Speechless, swinging...
Like sacs of ice,
Appearance locks.
A secret root
Envelops love
To a socket; -
Enslaving daylight
For moving too soon!

Reminiscent
Of a woman
We're yet to see...

Spaceless, sinking...
The Horizon's
Anchor, memoirs -
A saviour rots.
Predictable
Awe, legacy;
Enslaving daylight
For mourning too soon!

Embarassment
Of an image
We have not seen...

Seekless, spinning...
Deafening Form,
None-willing jest.
Replayable
Sun; Eyes; boring
Eternity; -
Enslaving daylight
To morning too soon!

Reminiscent
Of a woman
We're yet to see...
