The Night Sky



clear dark night sky
a shooting star passes by
a red star, there in the right
glows and twinkles very bright
every night; so quite
every child; sleeping tight
chirping and flying geese
all sleeping in this peace
the sun has set and the snow falls down
freezing cold is the whole big town
moon lays behind, the darkness
showing its face, just a less
now i am here, freezing cold
warming up with this cup i hold
