The Northern Winds Poem by ARSHAJ GAIKWAD

The Northern Winds

Of all the bad things, that have come my way,
As days and nights have passed away,
Let HIM take away the things that stay,
And free me from these curious plays.

I dont know where my smile's gone,
And the dimple's like the setting dawn,
The flame of music now leaves no flare,
And into the dark for sunshine i glare.

Yet i can see in the midst of the mist,
Floating arround, yet holding my wrist,
Still spies the dark in the dusk unclear,
Maybe it knows, the end is near.

And now I hear a voice from the past,
That craves to lighten a beacon in my heart,
Through the trees I hear the northern winds,
CRACKING THE DARK, LETTING LIGHTS IN...!
