The Old Man Chant (3) Poem by Sunday Igwebuike

The Old Man Chant (3)

(1) A society that turns a deaf ear to justice is mocking their senses. Justice should not be the fringe of society, but should govern it. (2) The person that has just won the race has answered many questions of humanity. He is aptly qualified to lend a helping hand. (3) Stubborn-ness should not be seen or taken as an elevator, lest society fail! But can be of help, if it has to do with unflinching resolve. (4) The man that loves the good things of this life, should not deny same to his fellow. He ought to be free, just and fair! (5) An American child learns to walk the same way as an African child, but the American child is sure of more support, than his African counterpart!
