you were once loving, and you did once care
you probably once loved me and I once felt you were near
when I would hug you I could feel your heart beating close to mine
know when I hug you I feel worse than a ten year old drinking wine
we were so close, so near, so tight
we thought we'd stay together from day to night
every minute, every day, every week, every year
you don't even listen, you don't want to hear, you wouldn't forgive me for one little mistake
but I forgive you for all that brutal give and take.
you accept me to accept you, for the crazy who you are
but you don't accept me with all those cuts and scares
