Love is a word too often thrown around
When you know it your heart makes a sound.
Thumpity thump, your pulse races too
That's how you know it must be true.

You will do anything to make them smile,
Make them feel things not felt in a while.
The embrace in each other's arms
Both knowing they will never do harm.

The warm glow and simple touch
Make it almost a little too much.
All you want is a kiss or wanting glance
With your one and only you'll get your chance.
Make the most of it and you won't fall
You both have found the greatest person of all.
