The One I Love - Poem by Justina Nicole Haner

When will you stop playing with my heart?
How much pain will you cause before I break?
I sometimes wonder why you play with me

After all the love I give you, you give nothing in return
You receive tons of love from me and I get none from you
We see each other everyday and yet I always get the cold shoulder

Thanks for the pain, the tears, and the heartbreaks
No way will I ever give up on loving you cause I know you
This isn't what you want, you want my love and care

I see the fire in your eyes when I walk by and smile
You shouldn't hold back at your one true chance at love
Whenever you need love I'll be here to give it to you
