The One Known As Mr Happy Poem by Francis Duggan

The One Known As Mr Happy

He gets by with little money yet his worries are small
And him in an unhappy mood is something I can't recall
You laugh the World laughs with you he has been known to say
And he will not die of worries though he must die one day,
To live a carefree existence his very best he try
The one known as Mr Happy the nickname he goes by
You never hear him trash talking or putting others down
A credit to his neighbourhood and his side of the town,
So down to earth and friendly about him nothing vain
He takes life as he lives it one who never does complain
Of his lack of finances or his small take home pay
His antidote for worries a few good laughs a day
Down to earth and easy going one free of any guile
He has a friendly way about him and at life's cares he does smile.
