The Only Lonely Zone Poem by Lydia Jackson

The Only Lonely Zone

I will understand if you tell me I'm not worth it
But there's something on my mind, bugging me a little bit
I try to smile, when you're around
But you don't see me, you see the ground
I'll laugh around you, to see what you do
To see if you realize, the person you use to knew
I'll sit at night, alone once more
Paranoid from the knock on the door
'Is it you? ', 'Could it be true? '
That you have actually noticed me
But then I realize, it's all imaginary
In my head, Up in the clouds
I know I'm not worth it; I'm stood in the crowd
Nobody to hear me, See me or look
So I'll go, leave on my own
My life, the only lonely zone
