The Other Day - Poem by anthony aliaga

I'm scared you'll find out,
How beautiful you are
Then you'll kick me out
And I'll live in the car
And I'll tell myself I'm sorry for all the times we fought
I'm not that far
Maybe up the block
Baby I want you back I'm scared of the dark
I need you now
I need you,
I'm in tears thinking about you
And all the things we use to do
Baby I thought you said 'I do'
Now there's no me and you
There's only you,
Cause now I'm nothing to you
I'll just be on my way
I thought you would yell out to stay
Damn I'm here crying, I had to pay
Now I'm here and I lay
Thinking what we had just the other day
