The Other Life: First Moments Poem by Sajjad Yousaf Sajjad

The Other Life: First Moments

Be it; not in the World we meet

Be it; not that I hold you

Be it; not that I touch you

But I'll still find you, in a World we haven't seen

Be it, that time flies

Be it, that we might turn old

Be it, that we might separate through someone else

But I'll still find you, when our souls would flew apart

And that day would come

Resurrection, and humans in chaos

I'll first think of you, the moment I would woke up

I would still look for you, curious and confused in wrath of God

I'll look for that bright face in the chaos

I'll look for the sweet voice in noise and cries

I'll look for the shining eyes, with my vision too blurred perhaps?

And I'll find you... I'll still find you
