The Other Side Poem by Ronald King

The Other Side

I could see the lighting I could hear the thunder roll the rain dancing off my back it chilled my very soul but I was young and on the run no one could down I'd stay long enough to steal there heart then I was headed for another town Yea I'm goin catch that south bound train to Georgia I'm gonna let this free bird out to fly I've got green grass and high tides waiting for me when I finally reach the other side I've climber high above the clouds and danced upon the wind I took it all held nothing back said devil lets dance again this old world it turns so fast nothing ever stays the same you can stay or run with the pack or just live to play the game.
