The Others Poem by Daniela Rodriguez

The Others

Looking at the world
Makes me look at myself twice.
The world is very deceiving.
It leads you into a path of wild and destructive things.
How could you have so many in need
and still want more?
Don't you feel anything?
Don't just look at them.
Look at their soul and then you will understand.
Look athem straight in the eye and say you don't care.
DO you dare?
If you want more out of life, give like if there's no tomorrow.
Give your two cents each day and you will see later on,
you will be the richest person in the heavens.
The world would be a more comfortable place to live.
Live for for tomorrow,
Live for today
But give them a chance to enjoy too.
Our greedy monsters will soon back down
And slumber underneath the soil.
