The Oyster Poem by Haile Tesfaye

The Oyster

When a grain of sand
enters the oyster's shell,
a vexing pain exists. The
oyster complains not, but
accepts the agony and allows
the misery to create a path
for joy to flow. Remember, the
things that get under your
skin and the many trials
of life will become a comely
pearl through patience.
