The Pain Of Normality Poem by Zechariah Macon

The Pain Of Normality

Really it is just too
much of a weight
too high
for depth
too long for reach
and words that
form our common-place
sayings
are far too light
In our world
of fast(here and now)
it seems like there
is no time
for
things of import
(that must take
time to grow)
and what's saddest
of all is that
the human
heart is one
of them.
