The Painful Journey Called Life Poem by Mona Zayeb

The Painful Journey Called Life

Every day I live in guilt, the fear that binds me to the past, I feel like every dream is rushing by, escaping through me so very fast. I take the ones who love me for granted, believing they will always be around, this fear has taken over me, I feel like I have lost my ground, I pray to God for all my strength, in order to live with faces of life's pain that surround me. I always ask myself why, the question of life has become so evident, it's only in truth that everything happens for a reason, we cannot change what fate has written for us. Every day is a journey, every mistake is a lesson learned, every dream is a wish that's granted existing only in the heart of true belief.

What an interesting essay, but it is a start and I am looking forward to some heartfelt poetry. Read mine - The Bloom of Youth - Adeline
