The Paradoxical Nature Of Immortality Poem by Duncan Standard

The Paradoxical Nature Of Immortality

Rating: 4.0

If I could travel my way through time,
Follow Einstein...
Well...

Relatively.
Ha.
I could go to before the spawn of humanity.
Stop everything...

Because the pure thought of any existence is...

Is desolate...
Without,
Your,
Love...

If I could place myself in any time.
I would place myself before time.
Destroy the essence of time.
Burn,
And kick,
And bite,
And scratch,
And scream,
Scream,
SCREAM!
I would scream at time...
I would unravel,
All,
Of,
Time...
Hmph...
Just because you will never know how much I just...
I just...
I just truly,
Love,
You...

If I had this power...
To escape through time...
I wouldn't be as alone,
As I am,
Right,
Now.
